The Rojas Construction & Remodeling Story
By Tito Gutierrez, founder
I have worked in construction for more than 30 years, and I founded Rojas Construction & Remodeling in 2007. Our company is based in Walnut Creek and serves homeowners throughout the East Bay.
I was born in Mexico and moved to the United States in 1991. Over time, working with my hands became more than a job. I found real satisfaction in solving problems and turning a home into a place that works better for the people who live there.
Good remodeling starts before demolition
A successful remodel starts with listening. What do you want to change? What gets in the way of daily life? What matters most to your family?
Those questions guide the scope. A kitchen may need better storage or a more open layout. A bathroom needs careful attention to waterproofing, drainage, and ventilation behind the finishes. A structural opening needs the right planning and support. The construction behind the photograph matters as much as the finished space.

Every house has its own conditions
Two homes that look similar can have very different conditions behind the walls. Older wiring, unexpected plumbing, dry rot, or previous repairs may only become visible during the work. Experience helps us recognize the issue, explain it, and discuss an appropriate solution with the homeowner.
The reputation I want to build
When a customer calls us for another project or recommends us to a friend, that means a lot to me. My goal is to earn that trust through the way we plan, communicate, and take responsibility for the work.
The Rojas Way describes our approach from the first conversation through the completed project. Our project galleries show the spaces and construction behind it.
Time on the water
When I step away from the jobsite, fishing helps me reset. I love heading offshore and spending time on the ocean. It takes patience, preparation, and adapting when conditions change—qualities that also matter in construction.
